چکیده
The application of bacteriophages biocontrol requires the formulation genetically distinct in a phage cocktail. Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) - PCR is considered cheap, reproducible, and readily applicable tool detecting diversity compared to other molecular techniques such as whole-genome sequencing. We used this study RAPD-PCR technique assess genetic 28 infecting Pseudomonas aeruginosa Staphylococcus aureus. According their RAPD profiles, isolated phages were grouped into 2 main clusters which included from same host. typing by newly was useful bypassing previous sequencing analysis. These lytic against P. S. aureus could potentially be cocktail for these clinically industrially relevant bacteria. Key words: Phages, diversity, PCR, aeruginosa,

Proteomic Characterization of Lytic Bacteriophages of Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Sewage Affluent of India
Staphylococcus aureus is a Gram-positive bacterium that causes a variety of diseases, including bovine mastitis, which has severe economic consequences. Standard antibiotic treatment results in selection of resistant strains, leading to need for an alternative treatment such as bacteriophage therapy. Present study describes isolation and characterization of a staphylococcal phage from sewage sa...
متن کاملIn vitro Evaluation of Methylxanthines and Some Antibiotics: Interaction against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Background: The development of resistance to antimicrobial agents is a major problem in chemotherapy. Finding agents which potentiate antimicrobial activity could be favorable. There are some reports that methylxanthines changed the inhibitory effect of antibacterial agents. Thus, possible synergistic effect of methylxanthines, aminophylline and caffeine on some antibiotics, carbenicillin, ceft...
متن کاملIsolation and Characterization of Two Lytic Bacteriophages Against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Evaluation of Their Antibacterial Effects on Clinical Isolates of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli in The Northwest of Iran
Background and Objective: This study was carried out to isolate lytic bacteriophages against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and analyze their biological characteristics and antibacterial effects on other clinical isolates of bacteria. Methods: Isolating two lytic bacteriophages against two strains of P. aeruginosa was carried out using the double-layer agar method. After investigating the antibacteria...
متن کاملPseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Fluoroquinolone Use
Few long-term multicenter investigations have evaluated the relationships between aggregate antimicrobial drug use in hospitals and bacterial resistance. We measured fluoroquinolone use from 1999 through 2003 in a network of US hospitals. The percentages of fluoroquinolone-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) were obtained from yearly antibiogr...

Introduction: Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium has a high resistance to most anti-Pseudomonas drugs, which has caused concern all over the world. Therefore, the effect of lytic bacteriophages on Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates with multi-drug resistance is investigated in this research. Methods and Materials: Different strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium were identified and isolated fr...
